LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Engineering Workbench) is a platform and development environment for a visual programming language from National Instruments. The purpose of such programming is automating the usage of processing and measuring equipment in any laboratory setup.
For a communication between MIL-STD-1553 and the LabVIEW programming environment, support packages have been developed.
The LabVIEW support software packages make the development of LabVIE applications simple and intuitive, including 3 levels of VI’s, which enables easy application development without sacrificing customization, and also reduces a learning curve by using NI design paradigms.
